Hi, I’m Amy!
I joined Scentsy in 2012 looking for a way to earn some extra income between jobs. I researched several direct sales companies, but I kept coming back to Scentsy. The products made sense to me, I loved that they were safer than traditional candles, and I could actually picture myself sharing them with friends and family.
The funny part? My mom believed in me before I fully believed in myself. She loaned me the money for my Starter Kit, and that little leap of faith completely changed my life.
Over the years, Scentsy has become so much more than extra income. It’s introduced me to lifelong friendships, helped me grow as a leader, and taken me places I never imagined I’d go—including earning an all-expenses-paid Mediterranean cruise that I was able to share with my mom. I’ve also traveled across the country for trainings, conferences, retreats, and incentive trips, and every one of those experiences reminded me that success is even sweeter when you have people to celebrate it with.
Like most businesses, mine has had seasons. I’ve experienced incredible growth, earned the title of Director, and I’ve also had times when life demanded my attention elsewhere. Through career changes, divorce, and now helping care for my mom during her medical journey, Scentsy has remained something I can build around my life instead of having to put my life on hold for.
That’s one of the things I love most about this business: it looks different for everyone.
Some people join because they want vacation money. Others want to pay for groceries, save for Christmas, replace an income, or simply have something that’s theirs. There isn’t a “right” reason to start.
If you’re looking for someone who’s going to promise overnight success, I’m probably not your person.
